Officer Blanke Receives Award
| Officer Jim Blanke of the police department received the 2009 Kiel Police Department's Employee of the Year Award. Jim received the highest number of votes from his peers and was recognized by Chief Funkhouser at the City of Kiel's Common Council Meeting on January 26th. This is the 2nd time in 4 years that Jim has won the award. In addition to an award plaque, Jim's award was posted in the police department's lobby and he also wears a commendation emblem on his uniform for specifically winning this award. Congrats Jim! |
