Coloring Contest Winners Ride in Memorial Day Parade

The Kiel Police Department and Kiel Public Library co-sponsored a coloring contest as part of National Library Week and National Police Week celebrations.  93 kids from the Kiel area submitted colored pictures of police officers and of those entries, members of the police department selected three (3) winners.

Weston Reedy (age 8) of New Holstein, Sydney Freis (Age 6) of Kiel, and Alex Karls (Age 4) of Kiel all won in their respective age categories.

As their reward for winning the contest, all three kids rode with School Liason Officer Jeremy Kamp in the Kiel Police car as it lead the Memorial Day parade down Fremont Street on May 26th.
