Five Officers Awarded for Years of Service
At it's department meeting on December 18th, Police Chief Dave Funkhouser presented years of service awards to members of the police department. Officer Joseph Jeanty and Officer James Blanke each received five year service awards and Captain Thomas Meyer received a ten year service award. All three officers celebrated their respective service anniversaries with the police department in 2006. The Chief also presented service awards to two officers, who in the past two years, celebrated milestones of service to the Kiel Police Department. Officer Cory Wilkens for 10 years of service, which he celebrated in 2005, and Officer Pasket for 15 years of service, which he celebrated in 2004.
