Honor Guard Added to Kiel PD's Ranks
| Officers James Blanke and Joseph Jeanty have been selected to act as representatives of the police department during formal ceremonies. As a result of a generous donation by the Kiel Area Chamber of Commerce, the department was able to purchase formal uniforms for both of the officers. These officers will be responsible for representing the police department during funeral services for all emergency services line-of-duty deaths occuring within the State of Wisconsin. In addition, they are responsible for attending all state and local law enforcement memorial services. The officers represented the police department during National Police Week ceremonies in Green Bay and the 17th Annual Wisconsin Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony held in Madison. On May 23, 2007, the officers attended the funeral services for Kenosha County Deputy Sheriff Frank Fabiano, Jr. |
